I just wanted to let you know that dad and I had the most amazing trip in the lake district of Chile.
The scenery was beautiful, the accomodations were superb, the food was delicious and the people were delightful. All of our travel plans went perfectly, without a hitch.
It was kind of fun to travel like non tourists on the public bus, although the customs took several hours. Dad weathered it very well as he is seasoned traveler. He also managed the trip home extremely well. I think he left his mark on Chile as one of Canada's oldest and most outgoing visitors.
I also want to mention how much we enjoyed our day with Ingrid and Claudio. They were so much fun and it was great to spend a day with 2 young knowledgeable Chileans. We learned a lot about the country from them and they were excellent ambassadors. The penguin expedition was a highlight, as was the scenery of the beach and the market in Ancud. So thank-you for setting up such a wonderful trip. If I meet anone who is going to Chile (I meet many travelers through my business), I will certainly pass along your name.
